This Statement applies to mywordlist.com (the 'Site'), which is owned by My Wordlist, LLC ('My Wordlist'). It is My Wordlist's policy to comply with data protection legislation. While My Wordlist takes measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized access or inappropriate use by third parties, My Wordlist does not control these third parties. Disclosure of Information to Others

We disclose to third parties your personal information, and combined personal or demographic, as set forth below.

Examples include hosting our web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, third party web site developers and providing customer service. In addition, in the event My Wordlist becomes the subject of an insolvency proceeding, whether voluntary or involuntary, My Wordlist or its liquidator, administrator, receiver or administrative receiver may sell, license or otherwise dispose of such information in a transaction approved by the court. We retain all the information we gather about you in an effort to make your repeat use with us more efficient, practical and relevant until you change or remove your personal data. If you previously opted to receive newsletters, commercial e-mails or other communications from My Wordlist or third parties, but subsequently change your mind, you may opt-out by editing your account. If you previously opted not to receive such communications, you may later opt-in by editing your account.

Security

You are responsible for ensuring that your log-in credentials (your username and password) are kept confidential.

My Wordlist has implemented technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. Notwithstanding such measures, the Internet is an open system and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.

My Wordlist is not intended for, nor do we knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13, and is not designed to attract children.

Use of Cookies and Java Script

Cookies

My Wordlist uses 'cookies' to help personalize and maximize your online experience and time online. A cookie is a text file that is either stored in your computer's memory temporarily (a 'session' cookie) or placed on your hard drive (a 'persistent' cookie) by a web page server. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to your computer and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

When you return to the Site, cookies enable us to retrieve the information you previously provided, so you can easily use the features that you customized. Because of our use of cookies, we can deliver faster and more accurate results and a more personalized Site experience.

JavaScript

My Wordlist also uses JavaScript, for example, within certain advertisements. JavaScript is a script language that enhances the functionality of the Site, particularly in respect to pictures. BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS PARAGRAPH MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.IF THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS ARE HELD INAPPLICABLE OR UNENFORCEABLE FOR ANY REASON, THEN THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY BY US TO YOU FOR ANY TYPE OF DAMAGES SHALL BE LIMITED TO $10.00.

MISCELLANEOUS

The Statement is governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of New Jersey in the United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Jurisdiction for any claims arising under or out of this Statement shall lie exclusively with the state and federal courts within the State of New Jersey. If any provision of this Statement is found to be invalid by a court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any term or condition of this Statement shall not be deemed a waiver thereof and shall not prevent its later enforcement.
